Behind every skyline there are neighborhoods, relationships, people, and stories …

Time to get out your crazy colored socks and your dancing shoes and your favorite cooking pot and—
Oh, wait. Maybe I should say something about why we put together this Yada Yada Celebrations and Recipes book.
As many readers of the Yada Yada Prayer Group novels know, the Yada Yada sisters were always celebrating something. And cooking food. As I followed these feisty women around through all seven novels, I thought: Wouldn’t it be great to collect and expand these multi-cultural celebrations and recipes into a book, so readers—and even those dear souls who haven’t read the novels—could enjoy them with their families and friends too?
We first did a “Party Edition” of the Yada Yada series, with relevant celebrations and recipes in the back of each book. But not everyone who’d already read the novels wanted to buy the new edition—and besides, who actually remembers which celebration or recipe appeared in which book? (And who wants to get food splatters on your favorite Yada Yada novel?)
So . . . ta da! Here they are! All the celebrations and recipes in one book!
